Warranty and service
12-month standard warranty
Every RewaneBook A14 ships with a 12-month limited hardware warranty covering manufacturing defects in the mainboard, display, keyboard, battery and adapter, honoured in-country.
24-month institutional cover
Schools, government and corporate fleet orders can extend to 24 months, including accidental-damage handling and a pooled spare-parts allocation held with the local service partner.
Advance replacement for fleets
Orders above 100 units include a 3% swap-stock buffer so a failed unit is replaced immediately rather than waiting on repair turnaround.
Parts and service commitment
Batteries, adapters, SSDs, keyboards and display panels are stocked for a minimum of 5 years from launch, with service manuals provided to authorised technicians.
Not covered
Liquid ingress, physical damage from drops or crushing, unauthorised disassembly, consumable wear, and damage from non-Rewane chargers. Battery capacity is warranted to 80% of rated capacity within the first 12 months.
SONCAP / PVoC guidance for Nigeria
All imported IT equipment entering Nigeria falls under the Standards Organisation of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Programme. This is the route we operate for every RewaneBook consignment.
- 01
Product registration (PC / SC)
Rewane holds the Product Certificate for the RewaneBook A14 model family. Registered importers reference this certificate instead of repeating full type-testing on each shipment.
- 02
Pre-shipment testing
Units are tested against the applicable IEC/NIS standards for IT equipment — IEC 62368-1 (safety), CISPR 32/35 (EMC) and IEC 62133 (battery cells) — at a SON-recognised laboratory.
- 03
PVoC inspection at origin
The appointed SON PVoC agent (Cotecna, SGS, Intertek or COTECNA-equivalent per route) inspects the consignment and issues the Certificate of Conformity before the vessel sails.
- 04
SONCAP Certificate issuance
The importer submits the CoC with the Form M and PAAR documentation; SON issues the SONCAP Certificate required for Customs clearance at Apapa, Tin Can or MMIA.
- 05
Customs clearance & release
Cargo clears against the SONCAP Certificate, Form M, PAAR and NAFDAC-exempt IT classification. Rewane supplies the full document pack to every appointed distributor.
