Building a service network before selling the second container
30 May 2026 · 3 min read
It is easy to sell a container of laptops into a new market and hard to support them. Our sequencing puts support first: before a city becomes a volume market, we place swap stock with the appointed partner and stock the fast-moving spares — batteries, chargers, keyboards, panels and hinges.
Technician training runs alongside. Partners' service staff are trained on chassis teardown, part replacement and firmware recovery, so the majority of faults are resolved locally within days rather than escalated abroad over weeks.
The A14 platform was designed for this: standard screws, no glued panels, and a battery and SSD that can be replaced without specialist tooling. Repairability is a commercial decision as much as an engineering one.
